Overview

Peri Peak Climbing is part of the Northern Rasuwa District Nepal. Mountains call as Lantang trekking Peak by Nepal Mountaineering Association and this height is one of the practical mountain climbing situated in the northern part of Kathmandu. Peri Peak top lies inside the lovely lang tang valley. And first climbed Mr. Pasang Sherpa and Sandesh Sherpa from Nepal. Many small peaks in this region require no previous climbing experience. Peri Peak is an attractive peak rising to the west of the Ganja La (5,122m). We follow the route of the Langtang trek to Kyangjin (3,749m) for the ascent of Peri Peak. Northeast of Kyangjin Ri (4,700m), there are two peaks; Yala Peak (5, 500m) and Tsergo Peak (5,749m) which provide good climbing for acclimatization. Ascending to Ganja La or the summit of Peri Peak offers spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,370m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,099 m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,571 m). The normal route of ascent to Peri Peak is via the northeast ridge over a line of ice and snow.

We follow the route of the Langtang trek to Kyangjin (3,749m) for the ascent of Peri Peak. Northeast of Kyangjin Ri (4,700m), there are two peaks. Yala Peak (5, 500m) and Tsergo Peak (5,749m) provide good climbing for acclimatization. We will begin our journey to Yala height from syabrubensi that’s the start line to the lang tang valley trek Close to Kathmandu and trek climbs through forests, the village’s spectacular view of the mountains, and glaciers. The border with Tibet and Nepal includes eight thousand peaks. The name of the peak is “Sishapangma”.Cross from Langtang into the Helambu over the steep exposed high pass that’s often closed by snow. Itinerary Outline

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m approx.) Transfer to Hotel.

Once your plane lands in the international airport of Kathmandu, you will be welcome by our airport representative, waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. Once you are transferred to your hotel, you can take a rest after a long flight and in the late afternoon explore this vibrant capital of the Himalayan country.

Day 02: KTM to Syabrubesi 1530m.(7hrs).

Day 03: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel 2410m(6 hrs).

Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang 3430m (5hrs).

Day 05: Langtang to Kyanjin Gomba 3830m (3hrs).

Day 06: Rest day…..

Day 07:  Kyanjin to Morimoto Camp 4780m(8hrs).

Day 08: Morimoto Base Camp to 4900point /Langtang glacier camp 4900m(8hrs).

Day 09: Langtang Glacier to Peri Base Camp 5500m 8hrs.

Day 10: Pre- Training and exploring around.

Day 11: Peri Peak Summit day and back to Langtang Glacier Camp 6hrs.

Day 12: Langtang Glacier to Morimoto Camp 7hrs.

Day 13: Morimoto Camp to Kyanjin Gompa 7hrs.

Day 14: Kyangjin Gompa to Ghora tabela.

Day 15: Ghora Tabela to Syabru Besi.

Day 16: Syabru Besi to Kathmandu Drive by local Bus or Private Jeep.

Day 17: Transfer airport – flight to onward destination.

Nepal Trekking Equipment List

This piece of info is creating data on consumer goods and equipment needs, For those that would love an extra detailed discussion for equipment for the Nepalese Himalayan Trek.
The following equipment list is required for Nepal Trekking and climbing and a list, you have to have suggested equipment just have with you, however, that you just might have your own personal first choice equipment which can be equally as appropriate

Footwear

  1. Walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof.
  2. Trainer or casual shoes, for trekking and/or for travelling.
  3. Warm socks for colder areas.
  4. Gaiters, in case of rain or snow

Legwear

  1. Loose, casual trousers for trekking.
  2. Thermal leggings for colder areas.
  3. Long skirts for women as an alternative to trousers.
  4. Waterproof trousers

Body

  1. Selection of T-shirts, and long-sleeved shirts, preferably not cotton.
  2. Thermal shirt for colder areas.
  3. Warm shirt, possibly fleeces, for colder areas.
  4. Fleece jacket or warm wool jumper.
  5. Windproof, waterproof outer shell garment for higher altitudes.
  6. Down jacket (optional for cold nights & mornings; can be hired in Kathmandu cheaply)

Head/Hands

  1. Wool or fleece hat, or balaclava.
  2. Hat or cap for sun protection while trekking.
  3. Sunglasses or goggles.
  4. Warm gloves

Other items

  1. Strong rucksack or large hold all to be carried by porters.
  2. Daysack to be carried personally.
  3. Plastic bags or stuff sacks to store/separate trekking gear inside your main bag.
  4. One litre water bottle.
  5. Personal first aid kit to include essential items.
  6. Sleeping bag, 4 seasons.
  7. Torch, ideally head torch.
  8. Digital Camera and spare battery and battery charger! – For those not to be forgotten shots of the Himalayas.
  9. Toilet items and towel.
  10. Large handkerchief/bandana for neck

Optional items

Recommended Mountaineering Kit

In addition to the items mentioned above for trekking, the following is a list of the additional specialist items which are required for the trekking peaks.
Plastic or leather mountaineering boots, with gaiters and crampons that have been tested for a good fit.

What is Included
