Terms and Condition

The term and conditions consist of some important information about Sange Sherpa Adventure Trekking and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. which is necessary for you to read carefully and understand them. The booking terms and condition comprises a contract that legally binds you to the Sange Sherpa Adventure.  

Booking & Payment

To book your trip you must send us a filled booking form along with 40% of the non-refundable deposit. This refers to you have accepted the terms and conditions of Sange Sherpa Adventure Trekking and Expedition. Now you need to scan a copy of your passport to our office, after receiving your passport, booking firm, and 40% of the non-refundable deposit we will send you a final confirmation letter.

All the deposits and forms are required per person per trip. For further information regarding direct deposit details please contact us. A bank service charge may also be needed which is to be paid during the time of deposit.

If you want to pay with a credit card download the credit card form (.doc) or credit card form (.pdf.). We only accept Visa or Master Cards along with 4% will be added as a levy for the card processing fee. The remaining balance is to be paid before 18 days of our trip departure date. Sange Sherpa Adventure Trekking provides you with the right to cancel your trip.

If possible we too will accept your last-minute booking which is one week prior to the tour departure date. Now, full payment is required at the same time.

Cancellation and Booking Changes:

The terms and conditions required for cancellation and booking changes are as follows:

For canceling your trip you must inform us a minimum of 20 days before the trip departure date. Such information commences from the day notice is received. Cancellation is valid with approval from the company only after receiving the documentation. As you canceled your trip 30% of the advanced payment will be deducted as a cancellation charge

If the clients provide information about the cancellation of the trip that will not be refunded. And if the client leaves the trip for any reason whether that is voluntarily, involuntarily or if any violates the norm the trip has commenced that too will not be refunded. We too will not refund any meals, accommodation, or services not used.

If you want to change the original tour you need to submit the written document deliberating the changes required. Though every possible effort will be made changes are not guaranteed.

If you are not able to travel due to some authentic situation like because of death, injury, or serious illness of the passenger, close relative or friend, redundancy, or jury service you can postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements needed to that tour. Though it is necessary for you to provide proof that you are unable to travel at the time and change you’re booking. You need to pay US $ 100 per person to postpone or transfer the tour. This should be done two weeks before the trip departure, after 13 days no option will be left.

Passport & Visa:

You need to have a valid passport having a minimum of 6 months of validity from the return date. You can get a Nepalese visa from the Nepalese consulate in your country or arrival at Kathmandu Airport. The costs of a Visa are the exclusive responsibility of clients.

Travel Insurance:

Travel insurance is a must for all clients for any tour. The insurance should offer enough protection for the full duration of the tour which covers personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage.

Health and fitness:

All tours and treks in Nepal demand a sufficient level of fitness, therefore you should check with your doctor concerning your health and fitness before preceding with your journey. If you have any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might increase the risk of you requiring medical attention you need to inform Sange Sherpa Adventure. This may also hamper your ability to travel.

Children:

A legal guardian must be there accompanying travelers under the age of sixteen. If you have any queries related to age contact us for further information.

Publicity:

You should agree that we ( Sange Sherpa Adventure). can use images you have taken during the trip without any compensation to you. This is needed for publicity and promotion through whatever medium it can be.

Changes to Your Holiday & Pricing:

While traveling with us you need to have a maximum degree of flexibility, a good sense of humor, and be considerate about the mode of transportation, accommodation and itinerary may change even after the tour has started due to some unavoidable circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postpone due to weather in the high altitude or other erratic situation like a landslide, road blockage, flood, snow, political instability, etc. in such condition Sange Sherpa Adventure Trekking cannot refund any duty due to prior supplier arrangements. If doable we will make an effort to provide you with any other alternative trip of the same category.

We do not acknowledge any blame regarding loss of employment, delays, or compensation that results from situations that are beyond our control.

Our holiday, tour, and trek packages are designed based on twin-share accommodation. Thus, an extra appendage will be charged to those clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.

We too reserve the right to modify our pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under various situations which are beyond our control e.g. changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.
