Besides many choices, the west hiking trail to Changu Narayan is one of the most famous routes for everyone who loves hiking. The Changu Narayan temple is a very ancient pagoda-style (multi roof temple) and it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. From Kathmandu, we drive to Nagarkot. Once everyone arrives at Nagarkot, we start our hiking after enjoying high tea with great Himalayan mountain views. It is about 4 hour walk to Changunarayan Temple passing through the local villages and little hills. It is a beautiful walk descending via Telkot. We can take a short break for tea and at the Changunarayan we can have lunch. After lunch, we can do some sightseeing before we drive to Bhaktapur and further to Kathmandu.
