Overview

THE GREAT HIMAHEADING WAY AND TRAVELERS WAY IN LAYA TRAIL NEPAL.

The Great Himalaya Trail (Everest to Rolwaling Region) Trek 40 days 39 nights

The Great Himalayan Trial-Section 2 from East Kanchenjunga to West Mugu District in Nepal. The Great Himalayan Trail Trek is the most Adventure camping trek offering stunning views of mountains, landscapes, flora, fauna, and culture unchanged by the modern world. GHT is a 1700Km long trekking tail passing east to west through the Himalayas. It takes 90 to 150 days to complete this trial. A truly adventurous expedition to a remote and wild region of the Great Himalayas, with full logistic support - this is a journey that seeks a different route, a fresh perspective, a challenge. Our route traverses a spectacular, seldom visited region of Nepal and crosses High Mountain passes. The rare views, some of which will be ours alone, are quite the most breathtaking in the whole Himalayan range: sublime vistas which are amplified by the power of three of the world’s five highest mountains: Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and Everest.

This trek is also offered the satisfaction of absorbing at first hand the culture and folklore of tribal hill and mountain peoples and the flora and fauna of remote Eastern Nepal and the dates selected should ensure some of the best weather and panoramic views. From Kathmandu, the majestic backbone of the Himalayan glides our wingtips as we head east for Lukla. Beyond here our trekking route follows a great are, rising north onto the ridges of Khare and sweeping slowly westwards into the uninhabited heartland of the world's most spectacular mountains and passes.

Experience the remoteness in Nepal’s land with the Khumbu-Rolwaling valley trek, breathtaking mountain views diverse of flora and fauna, and rich local cultures. Good Walking experience and patience are required for this trek. In this trek, you can experience the Sherpa cultural heritage and Buddhist lifestyles in high places within “Khumbu” or “Everest Region”. It is the home of the Sherpa people and the legendary Yeti. The Khumbu region features unique natural and cultural landscapes and unsurpassed Sherpa hospitality. Visitors are also blessed with magnificent views of the towering peaks of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse Shar, Thamserku, Kwangde, Khumbi-ila, Kangteiga, Ama Dablam. On the way to our trek, there is a technical route in Amphu Labtsa and Tashi Labtsa Pass as well as other mountains, good landscapes; the village of Bedding (3,690m), and monastery, the village of Na (4,183m), Tso Rolpa Lake is the main attractions. Rolwalling trekking to Rollwaling Himal, which is on the west of Everest and near to the Tibetan border, offers a fascinating experience. Starts in Lukla passes Tashi Lapcha Pass and descends Tsho Rolpa Lake. The trail descends and turns to the Rolwaling Valley, one of the most remote, mysterious, and fascinating places on the trek. The land has many things to share, the tales of the yeti, the elusive snowman in the world and it is the place where some mountaineers arranged expeditions to hunt yeti during past days. Bedding is the last permanent settlement & Na Village which is only the summer settlement and it is the highest altitude in the trek.

The trail is accompanied by beautiful villages, farms, forests, streams, falls, glaciers, and magnificent landscapes. The highest altitude on the trails is at Sherpani Col 6150m. The trail is divided into nine sections they are Kanchenhjuna – Makalu, Everest – Rolwaling, Langtang – Helambu, Ganesh Himal – Manaslu, Annapurna -Mustang, Dolpa, Rara – Jumla – Mugu, Humla and the Far West. The eastern section of the GHT offers sights of the highest mountains while the western section offers timeless land of valleys, barren hills, and very less populated villages. There are high chances to spot rare animals like Red Panda and Snow Leopard on the GHT trek. Great Himalayan trail trek Trekkers can observe a wide range of forests including conifers, broadleaf deciduous forest, rare alpine shrubs, and medicinal plants. The GHT trek can be considered an exploratory trek. The trek gives memory to cherish for a lifetime. If you are looking for the next beautiful and daring adventure holiday, then GHT is the trek to do. This  Adventure Trip is always organized by Sange Adventure Trek.
