The best time to visit the temple is from March throughout June and September to November. Early breakfast drive from Ilam Baazar to Taplejung by bus 12 hours of O/n hotel.
After Breakfast, walk up to the Suketar (2 ½ hours walk). Visit the surroundings and local lifestyle along the trail walk further to the Deurali O/n hotel.
After breakfast walk up to Phedi. ( 4-5 hours walk) Bird watching along the trail. View mountains and sceneries on the way. O/n in Phedi.

Walk from Phedi to Suketar. Visit the local monastery. You can have local food. 4-5 hrs. O/n at Suketar (Lodges/tea-shops).
Fly directly to Kathmandu from Suketar or via Badarpur. 1 hr (more fly via Badharpur). O/n hotels.
