Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek is the Eastern part of
the Taplejung District of Nepal. Mount Kanchenjunga. North-base-camp-trek. Also, Mount Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world scaling 8,586 m. The
park is still enjoying its wilderness, untouched by the change of time. The
trek will go through diverse land topography, forests, and villages. Local
Culture there Limbu, Sherpa, and Tibet Culture. And there two base Camp North and
South Naturally beautiful. Trekking to the Kanchenjunga is wonderful since it
is still remaining a virgin area in the northeastern part of Nepal. It offers the unique beauty of nature with beautiful mountains as well as various types of
vegetation. This part of Nepal serves you multi-ethnic faces while you are en
route to the 8586 m. high superb mountain. You can meet the farmers cultivating
rice and Milt in Kanchenjunga Area. Everest Base Camp Trek
Kanchenjunga Trek begins once you reach Taplejung
via flight from Badarpur. From Taplejung we trek to Mitlung, Sukhathum and
reach to Sherpa village of Ghunsa. The trails at the lower sections pass
through fertile valleys with beautiful pastures, villages of Limbu people,
cardamom fields, and dense forests. After a day of acclimatization at Ghunsa, we
trek further north along the riverbank of our magnificent mountain scenery. We
pass through meadows full of wildflowers, rhododendron, and pine forest and
reach to Nuphchu River valley area. We go further up towards Lhonak and along
the Kanchenjunga Glacier to Pangpema, Kanchenjunga Base Camp on the north side.
Here we can enjoy the spendor of Jannu, Kanchenjunga and Chang Himal. Then we
retrace back to Kambachen, Ghunsa.
You can meet the farmers cultivating rice
Cardamom, which are supplied on their back to the houses, and the yak herder
sleeping in the tents made of yak wool. You walk through small villages and it
is very exciting to cross the rivers, over the suspension bridges, which you

to Biratnagar (262m).
Day 3: Fly to Suketar & trek to Mitlung
(2,245m).
Day 4: Mitlung to Taplethook (1,380m).
Day 5: Tailhook to Amjilosha (2,308m).
Day 6: Amjilosha to Gyapla (2,730m).
Day 7: Gyapla to Ghunsa (3,595m).
Day 8: Acclimatize and Explore around Ghunsa
(3,595m).
Day 9: Ghunsa to Kambachen (4m).
Day 10: Kambachen to Lhonak (4m).
Day 11: Trek to Pangpema (Kanchenjunga North Base
Camp) and Back to Lhonak (5105m).
Day 12: Trek to Ghunsa (3m).
Day 13: Back to Amjolosha (2m).
Day 14: Amjilosha to Chhirua (1m).
Day 15: Chhirua to Suketar (2m).
Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu via Biratnagar (1,300m).
Day 17: Free Day at Kathmandu (1,300m).
Day 18: Final Departure to your home.
