Overview

Just adding an extra adventure while traveling or trekking in Tibet. The trek provides a unique experience of walking in remoteness landscapes viewing the Mt. Everest to the east south. Trekking with yaks into the beautiful Tibetan Himalayan plateau. The trek goes to the advance base camp of the Mt. Everest and to wonder of Rombuk the highest monastery in the world. After exploring around the area, we then drive to old Tingri-Nyalam-Ghamu and finally the border at Friendship Bridge from where we drive to Kathmandu. Lasha Tour, Tibet Tour

Itinerary

Day 01
Transfer to the airport for the flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa

on China Southwest Airlines. This one-hour trans-Himalayan Flight will give you an opportunity to have an aerial view of the Mt. Everest and other Himalayan Peaks (weather Permitting). Arrival at Gonggar airport around 13.30 hrs. local time. After clearing immigration and customs it will be a two-hour drive to cover the 93 km. to Lhasa, which is situated at an altitude of 3650meters (13,000 ft.)

Day 02-03
Sight-seeing in Lhasa -During

these three days in Lhasa, we visit the Potala Palace, Drepung, and Sera monasteries, the Norbulingka and of course the famous Jokhang Temple including the surrounding Barkhor.

Day 04
Drive to Gyantse via

The Karo La (5010m), Kamba La Pass (4794m) and Yamdrok Tso Lake. Overnight at the tel.

Day 05
Shigatse.

Morning; Visit Khumbhum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. Proceed to Shigatse visiting Shalu Monastery en route. Evening; Sightseeing Tours of The Tasgunpo Monastery & the free Tibetan market. O/N at Guest House

Day 06
Drive to Old Tingri. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 07/10
Trek to Rongbuk. Overnight at Tent.

Day 11
Excursion to The Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Tent.

Day 12
Drive to Old Tingri. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 13
Drive to Nyalam. You can visit Milarepa’s Cave. Tibet’s famous Tantric Saint. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 14
Drive to Zhangmu and exit border and drive to Kathmandu.
