Overview

Annapurna Dhorpatan Trek brings you into a complete no-man’s-land with spectacular desolate landscapes. The views of the Himalayas are amazing, especially from the Jalja La (3386 m), from where you can see a whole range of mountains. Annapurna Dhorpatan Trek gives you an opportunity to explore the Dhorpatan Wildlife reserve which is a beauty itself. This reserve is famous for hunting trek in Nepal where you can hunt musk deer, blue ship, and other animals. While trekking in Annapurna Dhorpatan Trek for 3 days you will not find any settlement of villages. You have to do an organized trek till the Jang La (4519 m) brings you into Dolpa Trek.

Annapurna Dhorpatan Trek falls on the Lap of Mont Dhaulagiri and Gurja himal.we will start hiking from Beni Darbang through a village, Moreni and Jalja la are the small pass walking through lush forest. You will get a close-up view of the Dhaulagiri Himal range, Gurga Himal and wildlife can also be seen if you are lucky enough. Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek

Itinerary

Day 01:
Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m approx.) Transfer to Hotel.

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m approx.) Transfer to Hotel. Once your plane lands in the international airport of Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our airport representative, waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. Once you are transferred to your hotel, you can take a rest after a long flight and in the late afternoon explore this vibrant capital of the Himalayan country.

Day 02:
Drive from Kathmandu to Beni, 9/10 hours.

Drive from Kathmandu to Beni, 9/10 hours. First, drive by bus from Kathmandu to Beni. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 03:
Drive to Darbang approx 2/3 hours.

Drive to Darbang approx 2/3 hours and start trek to Dharapani. Approx 5 hours. Initially, up to Khop the trailheads on the bank of the stream and from there to Dharapani trek gradually goes up. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 04:
Dharapani to Samsung. Approx 6:30 hours.

Dharapani to Samsung. Approx 6:30 hours. This remote area with streams and gorges will be a wonderful place to explore. The beautiful landscape will be an added beauty. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 05:
Samsung to Jaljala 343 0m. Approx 7 hours.

Samsung to Jaljala 343 0m. Approx 7 hours. The trail ascends towards Jaljala through mixed forests of Rhododendron and Oaks etc. The scenery of green jungle and high mountains including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Gurja Himal, Churen Himal, Putha Himala, etc can be observed along the way and from Jaljala as well. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 06:
Jaljala to Dhorpatan. Approx 7 hours.

Jaljala to Dhorpatan. Approx 7 hours. Initially, the trail descends up to Khahare Khola (stream). After crossing it the trails goes ahead on the bank of the stream and through mixed forests to reach Dhorpatan. It’s a wonderful place in the middle of the jungle.

Day 07:
Exploration around and Spotting animals etc. And trek to Phagune Phedi 4493 m

Exploration around and Spotting animals etc. And trek to Phagune Phedi 4493 m. 3 / 4hours. The trail ascends steeply up enjoys the beautiful scenery of the mountains, green jungle, and landscape. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 08:
Morning hike to Phagune danda and trek back to Jungle camp. Approx 7 hours.

Morning hike to Phagune danda and trek back to Jungle camp. Approx 7 hours. Early in the morning hike to Phagune danda, observe the beautiful views of the Himalayan ranges, jungle, and landscape. And trek back descending to Jungle camp. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 09:
Jungle Camp to Gurjaghat 3000 m. Approx 6 hours.

Jungle Camp to Gurjaghat 3000 m. Approx 6 hours. The trail on the flat land through mixed jungle and streams. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 10:
Gurjaghat to Pachauri. Approx 6 hours.

Gurjaghat to Pachauri. Approx 6 hours. The trails head ascending first then descending through jungle and gorges. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 11:
Patichaur to Darbang and to Beni. Approx 5 hours.

Patichaur to Darbang and to Beni. Approx 5 hours. The trails head ascending and descending through light jungle and gorges. From Darbang drive to Beni (2/ 3 hours).

Day 12:
Drive back from Beni to Pokhara overnight in Pokhara.

Day 13:
Drive back Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Drive back Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 14:
Final Departure to your home.

Final Departure to your home. One of our representatives from Sange Sherpa Adventure Guide/Staff will drive you off to Tribhuwan International Airport, from where you will board your plan for another destination or your home country. Nepal Trekking Equipment List

This piece info is creating data on consumer goods and equipment needs, For those that would love an extra detailed discussion for equipment for Nepalese Himalayan Trek.
The following equipment list is required for Nepal Trekking and climbing and a list, you have to have suggested equipment just have with you, however, that you just might have your own personal first choice equipment which can be equally as appropriate

Footwear

  1. Walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn-in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof.
  2. Trainer or casual shoes, for trekking and/or for travelling.
  3. Warm socks for colder areas.
  4. Gaiters, in case of rain or snow

Legwear

  1. Loose, casual trousers for trekking.
  2. Thermal leggings for colder areas.
  3. Long skirt for women as an alternative to trousers.
  4. Waterproof trousers

Body

  1. Selection of T-shirts, and long sleeved shirts, preferably not cotton.
  2. Thermal shirt for colder areas.
  3. Warm shirt, possibly fleeces, for colder areas.
  4. Fleece jacket or warm wool jumper.
  5. Windproof, waterproof outer shell garment for higher altitudes.
  6. Down jacket (optional for cold nights & mornings; can be hired in Kathmandu cheaply)

Head/Hands

  1. Wool or fleece hat, or balaclava.
  2. Hat or cap for sun protection while trekking.
  3. Sunglasses or goggles.
  4. Warm gloves

Other items

  1. Strong rucksack or large hold all to be carried by porters.
  2. Daysack to be carried personally.
  3. Plastic bags or stuff sacks to store/separate trekking gear inside your main bag.
  4. One litre water bottle.
  5. Personal first aid kit to include essential items.
  6. Sleeping bag, 4 seasons.
  7. Torch, ideally head torch.
  8. Digital Camera and spare battery and battery charger! – For those not to be forgotten shots of the Himalaya.
  9. Toilet items and towel.
  10. Large handkerchief/bandana for neck

Recommended Mountaineering Kit

In addition to the items mentioned above for trekking, the following is a list of the additional specialist items which are required for the trekking peaks.
Plastic or leather mountaineering boots, with gaiters and crampons that have been tested for a good fit.
